Costumes!

Postby Callie » Mon Apr 20, 2009 6:31 pm

Yeah, I know it's April, but show me some dress up- Halloween, conventions, photo shoots, anything goes!

Here's some of my favorite Halloween moments from years past:

'08

Me and my gentleman friend

Me bein' a cheetah (rawr)

'07

me and my best friend become pirates at the beach
Image

here's me and her Halloween of that year...we really aren't mad at each other but this remains one of my favorite pictures of us ever

and me as little red riding hood

aaaaand '06- I'm including this because it's my favorite idea for a costume ever. I was a bottle of Skye Vodka

I have cute pics of me from Holloweens past, but there all pics I would have to scan and shit and I'm just too lazy. :D I like seeing the effort you put into costumes, tho. Maybe some day a guy will wander into the forums that has the same affinity for costumes that you do and it'll be a costumed match made in heaven.

One of my friends here is a social event organiser at the anime society (which I don't go to), so I get dragged along to the pub crawls, which involves getting dressed up. It's not like I have a choice in this. Apparently at the next one, which is pink themed, my hair is gonna get put in pink ringlets...

From the one just before christmas, three of us as a team from the anime 'Samurai Champloo':

Image

It's not a skirt, it's very baggy samurai-style trousers.

This is what the character (Jin) is meant to look like:

Image

I didn't make the costume...

Next, from a general 'Pirates vs Ninjas' theme, all the ninjas:

And me killing a pirate:

The event is a st andrews tradition which involves dressing up, and involves a foam fight, which explains the cans of shaving foam.

From another pub crawl, which involved me being dressed as cousin Itt:

Not really, I just needed to get my hair straightened for another costume, but it looks funny.

Something is seriously trying to stop me from posting in here. I read it the first itme shortly after Starfest. I ran to photobucket to upload pics as fast as I could to reply and it would only upload 50 at a time and I fell asleep. Then forgot about uploading them. I find this again and went to go get the IMG's from photobucket and my whole windoe froze. So take 3.

My kids as Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer at Starfest.

Connor as Shaun of the Dead with some random guy at Starfest who was Ed.
Image

Me as a BeneGessurit from Dune. My friend is getting her bald cap on just off to the left of the picture.
Image

This is from last years Starfest and not any member of my family, but totally awesome costume.

Halloween three years ago. We turned my friend's truck into a pirate ship too.

Here's mine and Taija's Halloween costumes. Taija was an evil nurse, and I was a half-assed Freddy Krueger. This is Taija's first real Halloween!

I would post a picture of my costume, but after seeing Tri's last picture it now has vomit all over it. Well done Tri.

Samantha is getting soooo big and she looks like she is full of spirit. Hope she had a fun halloween. (It looks like she did to me. :D ) Is this the first picture here of your new digs? Kitty looks settled in.

Thanks, she had a great time. I taught her to say "Go team!" It was super cute. Yeah, first pics of the new place, I haven't really taken any good pics yet. And the cats have already taken over. :D

TV, adorable Poohbaby!!
